We drove through Minot North Dakota and did not find any internet cafes or hotels to hook up through. So off we sent, following our second wifes advice our pet GARMIN (GPS) who found a short cut and a Uturn to get out of Minot.
Sure enjoyed a late morning lounging and a hot shower in the camp ground to wash hair and shave and get feeling fresh again. We did drive until 10 pm last night, following GARMIN'S directions to this state park.-Lewis and Clark- look it up to see where we are.
Guess we are 1/3 the way there and George is , you know,,,, let's see how far we can get today. We did get on our bikes today but as you can see the clouds were thick and the weather cool. so we did not launch the kayaks.
This is a bumpy road to be typing on, even though it is now a divided highway. . Sure not many campgrounds or rest areas on these roads, but then again, we are on the road less travelled...........
I sure am enjoying the green salads and stuff from home. The US border did not check us all at in Creston, so I could have brought some yummy potatoes, some frozen meat and my peaches, . The raspberries are fantastic that June and you gave me Laura. How goes the harvest of raspberries.
Well Dad has turned off to have a picnic lunch as it is 2 o'clock here, even though my tummy says it is barely noon.
